<\/a><\/p>\nThe theme of the projects is Sweden\u2019s worsening relationship with Russia and its vulnerable geographical and political position between Russia and Nato.<\/h6>\nWith a weak military unable to put a stop to current Russian acts of aggression, public awareness is the strongest available deterrent. Siarofortet Submarine Attractions are proposed cruise ship stops along the Archipelago. These installations react to trespassing submarines allowing the users to catch a better glimpse.<\/h6>\nThe main project looks at the potential Russian decommissioned submarines pose to a nuclear crisis. The proposal is a dismantling facility which deals with the nuclear load, and uses the recycled material and unspent nuclear energy for leisure and educational amenities. Its position on the Baltic island of Gotland is of defensive interest to both NATO and Russia. Placing the NATO funded facility here allows for easy submarine transportation from St. Petersburg and a neutral environment for collaboration as well as allowing Sweden to stabilise international relationships.<\/h6>\n
