Beside the Teatro Comunale, the theatre’s own architectural fragments are deconstructed and remodeled into a Performing Arts Playground. What was once decoration and structure becomes a stage, pool and playground. Here, a new life of playfulness and art is moulded from the memory of the old. Drawn from the site’s layering of performing arts culture and leisure, the theatre’s fragments are knolled, catalogued, and remoulded into structures where theatre and play are brought into dialogue.

Porticoes to the Sunken Theatre The iconic portico is remoulded and manipulated into a new form, from which stairs and voids emerge, carving a ground floor topography of sunken stage and raised pool to host performances for local artists.

Playful Harmony Through Elevation and Sections The site draws curiosity from the street through layered elements: tree planters that soften the frame, a water slide that adds playfulness, and fragmented arches that quietly connect old and new.

Perspective Renders Across Building Fragments of the Teatro Comunale are recreated through human intervention, using existing component’s curvature as reference and built into a playground where performance and play coexist.

Playground Installation Formed from Existing Theatre The new pieces are not invented, but born from the theatre’s existing patterns, aiming to build a space where memories are connected, playfulness echo the history, and the act of playing becomes a reimagination of the theatrical itself.
